Here’s a picture of the very inexpensive tablecloths we used at my daughter's wedding reception. The lower tablecloths were only 1 USD each from Dollar Tree, while the top lace tablecloths were purchased at Dollar General Store for 5 USD each.

Contact wholesale clubs like Sam's Club or Costco. I know you can buy rolls of plastic material that come on rolls. Restaurants purchase industrial rolls of aluminum foil and plastic tablecloths. You use it once and toss it.

Party supply stores like Party City and Occasions have nice, yet affordable tablecloths, paper plates, etc. Additionally, inexpensive serving dishes. Here’s another idea: ask your friends if you can borrow things. That’s what one of my friends did. We even gathered flowers from the roadside to decorate the tables. Needless to say, nothing matched, but everyone loved it. This was 35 years ago, and my friend is now a multiple millionaire, but she still thinks her "mismatched" wedding was the most beautiful, and everyone who was there also agrees — because it was full of love from her friends.

On the other hand, why not shop at Dollar Tree or one of the other discount stores? It would be cheaper than at Sam's Club or Costco, as you won’t be charged for the leftover plastic material.

You can buy them for 3 to 4 dollars each at Walmart, available in several colors.
After the wedding, you can repurpose them into curtains — just buy clip rings for the bottom.
You can either hem the sheets or simply fold surplus over the top to create a sort of valance.

Check the fabric sales section at your local Walmart or other store; most have areas where fabrics cost 1-2 USD per yard. I used various coordinating fabrics for tablecloths at parties.
